A showroom visit gives you a chance to compare furniture at your own pace. At Showhome Furniture in Calgary, you can sit on seating, see finishes together and discuss how pieces will fit your home.
Start with the room you use most
Bring a floor plan or simple measurements and a few photos. Note what you want to keep, where people walk and what is not working in the current room. This gives your visit a purpose beyond choosing a style you like in a photograph.
Try different seat depths and cushion feels. If more than one person will use the furniture, compare what feels comfortable for each of you. Ask whether the showroom example matches the version you would order.
See how pieces work together
Browse sofas in Calgary for your main seating, then compare dining tables in Calgary if you are planning an open living and dining area. Think about proportions, finishes and the space between pieces rather than matching every item exactly.
For bedroom furniture, consider bed dimensions, storage and the space needed to open drawers. A piece that looks compact in a showroom may occupy more of a smaller room at home.
Explore Canadian custom options
Showhome's selection includes Canadian-made and custom furniture. Available fabrics, sizes and configurations depend on the model. Ask the team to show you the choices for the piece you are considering and confirm the final specification before ordering.
Get design help in store
Our free interior design consultations take place in the showroom. A designer can help you discuss furniture selection and arrangement for a room or a complete home project. Bring measurements, photos and an idea of your budget.
The consultation offer is in store only. See our free in-store consultation information and choose a time through the booking page.
Ask about the order details
Confirm the current price, stock or order status, estimated timing and any delivery or setup charges. Ask about the terms for your selected item and read our return policy before purchasing. Delivery arrangements and services should be confirmed for your order rather than assumed to be free.
